Hello, I’m Stewart Brown

I’m Stewart. I was a former pastor and am now the speaker and teacher for One Heart Ministries, a speaking and teaching ministry in churches, conferences, and retreats. My most requested seminars “Encouraging Mentors” and “Welcoming Church” have been taught in various churches in Canada, Cuba, and Peru. I am the author of several books ,including the award-winning book Majesty in Motion and the short-listed book The REAL Welcoming Church:Imitating God, Thinking Like Jesus (2018).

He is a graduate of Tyndale College and Seminary in Toronto, Brock University in St. Catherines, ON, and Bethel University in St. Paul- Minneapolis, Minnesota (Doctor of Ministry degree).

Teaching missions outside of Canada are accomplished under Action International Ministries as indicated on his website. Other teaching resources include “The Spirit-Filled Life, “The Spirit-Filled Church”, “6 Keys to Lasting Friendships”, and “Empowering principles for Encouraging Leaders” (Resources for training, equipping team members or employees in the community or workplace).

He is energized by people and has served in a volunteer capacity in political parties and conferences, community associations, the local high school, and as an advisor to an association of Christian Artists.

Stewart has been the pastor of churches in Toronto, Halifax, southwestern and northwestern Ontario, and Edmonton. He recently moved ( in November 2016) from Edmonton to Wolfville Nova Scotia where he now lives with his wife, Sandra. He is the father of 3 married sons and 8 grandchildren.
